Petzold served most recently as the CFO of Motricity, where he was instrumental in the largest private equity funding in North Carolina history.
An industry veteran with a background of more than 20 years of telecommunications and technology experience, Petzold brings extensive experience in fundraising, mergers and acquisitions and operations. Before Motricity, he was CFO of UUNET, then the largest worldwide Internet Service Provider, during its growth from $20 million to $4 billion in annual sales and employee growth from 150 to 10,000. Petzold started his career as an audit manager at Arthur Andersen.
