I wanted to take just a moment to inform you of the outstanding performance from your Activation Engineer, Daniel Wynn. Yesterday was the first bandwidth.com installation I have ever done. My client (Hear of Texas) has been anxiously awaiting SIP trunking and now they can have it with your service. We ran into some serious issues with the SIParator, and Daniel was more than willing to assist us in getting set up with the service. Evidently, the SIParator was not fully configured like it should have been. It was only partially set up and would not allow us to use your service. In fact, it was so misconfigured, that we could not even log into the device to make the needed changes.

We basically “hacked” the SIParator, reset it all to factory defaults, and then rebuilt the whole configuration. It was quite an ordeal. It took several hours, and Daniel was willing to stick it out with us the entire time. He truly is a well qualified Engineer and knows his SIP stuff. If he is an example of how all your technical support staff responds to customers, you have made one Telecom Dealer and one customer very happy.!

We had some great success with Bandwidth today thanks to a couple of guys. We were finally able to get up SIP trunk up and running for outbound calls thanks to Bobby Watson. That coupled with the granular control and monitoring capabilities he had has renewed our comfort with the SIP product and will make it a go to solution for our customers.

The other gentleman Matt Ruehlen in customer service also played a big part today in getting us access to the voice tools in my portal and call ownership on the customer move question I had. Even though he could not answer the questions, he made sure it got to the right person and made sure that person got to me. It is experiences like this that resellers love. I've been very pleased with my Bandwidth.com service for the past year. I wish I had written down each technician that has helped me so I could personally thank each one of the Bandwidth.com team. I'm currently averaging about 20% of my allocated bandwidth with about 66% of my target WISP customers online. I wish I had the means to sign up for another pair of T1's, for a total of 6Mbps available for my WISP subscribers. On paper I would need to double my subscriber base to afford it. Until then, I'm happy with the level of service provided.

Also, as a former XO communications subscriber, every support incident has blown me away. I still can't believe that Bandwidth.com has the time to take care of my incidents since I'm most likely a very small account and therefore a little piece of the revenue stream. The best part is the there aren't any excuses for any outage. I appreciate the honesty the most.

My name is Jonathan Allison and I work for a company called Solid Concepts Inc. We purchase most of our internet lines through your company, including a pair of bonded T1 lines from the carrier. When both of our T1 lines went out at 5:30pm PST on August 22nd I immediately got on the phone with your support team. I worked with three different people at Bandwidth over the course of the 12 hours it took to get our line back up, a gentleman named Carl, another named Tim, and a very helpful woman named Amy. Even though the downtime was much too long, I know it was due to the incompetence of a number of people at the carrier and that everyone at the Bandwidth team worked as hard as they could to repair the situation. I was especially impressed with the persistence, professionalism and amiability of Amy of your nightshift staff. She kept me updated every hour throughout the night, just as I had asked, until I had the carrier service tech on site.

Despite our extended downtime and my extreme lack of sleep, I actually have come away from the incident with a positive outlook. Even though the carrier completely dropped the ball, your support team at Bandwidth managed to get some action taken and the issue resolved just before our extra critical business hours. Your team’s support has been great, and this event has reinforced just how important it is that we purchase all of our internet lines through Bandwidth.com. Given my direct experiences with the carrier’s support in the past, I can’t even begin to fathom how much worse this would be if I had to work with them directly to get this problem fixed.

I Oh, and I forget to mention. YOUR SERVICE IS BETTER. The sound quality is at least one level up from ViaTalk. The dropped calls so far are NONE. No really stupid automatic messages come on the line when a caller calls in, goes straight in to our PBX an works perfectly. ViaTalk, several times a day, had this automatic message that came on the line and stated "This number is unavailable." They ALWAYS stated that it was a problem on our end not theirs. And yet there is no software anywhere here that has that statement as an option. Also, I was on the phone for 45 minutes yesterday with no bad quality entering into the conversation, no missed words, no echos, no static. Again, with ViaTalk, after about 10 minutes on any call we began getting odd ball stuff like above.

I was having a problem getting the X-Lite soft phone to authenticate with my Edgemark 4200. After spending hours working on the problem alone I decided to call into bandwidth.com.

At first no one seemed to understand my problem or could grasp what I was trying to accomplish. After having a trouble ticket opened, Shawn had called me back. He allowed me to run through some of the steps that I had taken to try to solve the problem on my own. Once I described what was happening, he had immediate knowledge and knew exactly what I was trying to accomplish. It was very pleasant to have someone on the other end of the phone that is knowledgeable and willing to take the time to resolve the issues that I was having.

At no point did he rush me off the phone, or make me feel as if my problem wasn’t important. He said that he has seen this in the past and a resolution shouldn’t be hard to figure out. I’m glad to report to you that my soft phone is working very well thanks to the time and effort that Shawn was willing put in.

Kudos goes out to Shawn, along with Amber Kirby to whom I turn to also for a great deal of support. I feel strongly that both these employees are very valuable to bandwidth.com and bandwidth.com should feel proud to have them!

At a time when our previous provider was unable to help us in making an installation happen in a relatively short period of time as we moved our offices, Chendra and the Covad personnel stepped up to make the dates in which we had asked. This short time frame was quicker than all of the other providers would even entertain. Hats off to Chendra for her kind and quality communication in keeping us informed and pushing the process as quickly as necessary. I first spoke with the customer on Monday, January 23rd when they were 1 week away from an office move and without connectivity as AT&T had completely forgotten their T-1 order. Upon signed contract submission that day, the process has been flawless from beginning to loop drop yesterday and install today!

Many hands massaged this order through beginning with Ben Bonine for pre-sales guidance, Josh Stone with a quick contract turn-around and Shannon Nice manually approving the credit.
