ABOUT BANDWIDTH.COM, INC.

Bandwidth.com, Inc. ("Bandwidth") is a nationwide telecommunications and VoIP provider primarily serving business customers.  Many of our customers use our VoIP services in a wholesale manner, offering services of their own together with a Bandwidth telephone number to their end users.  In these cases, Bandwidth does not have a relationship to the end user or any information about the end user and how the number is being used by the end user. In fact, Bandwidth may not provide any of the features of the end-user's services even though they may include a Bandwidth telephone number. In many such cases, wholesale customers whose services involve the use of a Bandwidth phone number are providing their own services to the end user of their services via an application or other service delivery method (sometimes referred to as Over The Top (OTT) services – more information may be found on the web, including Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telco-OTT).

Bandwidth also provides hybrid calling (VoIP based augmented with mobile connectivity) services to consumers under the product name of Republic Wireless.

Due to the nature of VoIP, Bandwidth's wholesale customer base, and the proliferation of OTT services, you should never assume that a number is associated with Republic Wireless even though it may appear as if the number you are investigating is "mobile" in nature.

AS A COURTESY, WE OFFER TO VERIFY TARGET PHONE NUMBERS FOR AUTHORIZED ENTITIES WITHOUT LEGAL PROCESS, AND IF THEY ARE ASSIGNED TO A WHOLESALE CUSTOMER OF OURS, WE MAY BE ABLE TO PROVIDE THAT WHOLESALE CUSTOMER’S COMPLIANCE INFORMATION WITHOUT LEGAL PROCESS TO SAVE AUTHORIZED ENTITIES THE STEP OF SUBPOENAING US FIRST FOR THE CUSTOMER OF RECORD AND THEN HAVING TO SUBPOENA THAT CUSTOMER OF RECORD FOR END USER INFORMATION.  Our wholesale customer then would make its own independent assessment of the request, including, without limitation, any subpoena subsequently delivered.

THEREFORE, LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES AND OTHER AUTHORIZED ENTITIES ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO SEND AN EMAIL TO LEGAL@BANDWIDTH.COM WITH YOUR FULL LEA NAME AND CONTACT INFORMATION AND THE TARGET NUMBER PRIOR TO LEGAL SERVICE.

ABOUT BANDWIDTH.COM CLEC, LLC Bandwidth.com CLEC LLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bandwidth.com, Inc.  Since telephone numbers of interest may be assigned to Bandwidth.com CLEC LLC as the carrier of record, Bandwidth will accept service of legal process under either the name of Bandwith.com, Inc. or Bandwidth.com CLEC, LLC.
