It's an Outlook integration that sends voicemail directly to a given e-mail address. There are a couple advantages with this option. First and foremost employees can listen to voicemail anywhere email is accessable. Secondly, these voicemails can be saved onto a computer for future playback. This enables a user to delete them off the phone system, delete them off the switch, but still have them saved for record. Customers and\or assocaites often leave detailed information, callback numbers, things that you want to hold on to, yet don't want to take up whole lot of room because you have only a limited amount of memory for your voicemail box.
