Dynamic Location Routing (DLR)
Dynamic Location Routing is 911 routing based on location object and is the ideal emergency solution for large enterprises where users are frequently moving about.
The service uses PIDF-LO (Presence Information Data Format Location Object), which provides pin-point accurate location information, when it’s needed the most.
The benefits of Dynamic Location Routing
With Dynamic Location Routing, location objects can be sent with the call in the SIP header at call time which provides increased flexibility in associating location information with emergency calls.
Bandwidth offers Dynamic Location Routing as one of our three 911 routing options geared toward providers of VoIP-based phone solutions.
