Interconnection Agreement (ICA)

Traditionally, an Interconnection Agreement (ICA) is a regulated contract between telecommunications carriers for the purpose of interconnecting their networks and passing traffic on the PSTN. More commonly, it describes contractual agreements between service providers that define the controlling terms of traffic exchange between those services providers.
